Our Impact

We activate technologists to change the world. our volunteer network grows every year to serve community organizations nationwide.

Overnight Website Challenge

Since the first Overnight Website Challenge in 2008, over 1300 volunteers have donated more than $7.3 million in web design and development services to 209 nonprofits. In 18 events in the Twin Cities, Chicago, Kansas City, and Phoenix,  web pros from throughout the interactive community have spent 24 hours - in a row - helping nonprofits create websites they otherwise couldn't afford.

In 2017, we revamped the event to impact more nonprofits and offer expanded technology assistance.

Now, we are launching NerdKind, an online community to connect technologists and nonprofits every day -- without waiting for one of our events.  From one-hour consultations up to large technology projects, our network of technologists is ready to engage directly with nonprofits in need.

Our Recipients

Our recipients are local nonprofits based in the communities we serve, currently the greater metro areas of the Twin Cities, Chicago, Kansas City, and Phoenix.

All are designated 501(c)3 organizations, with missions that benefit the community in a variety of ways.

Check out the details of our events for more information on nonprofit criteria for participation.
