Project Summary from the Team

Create a website from scratch to connect retired professional to principals in the educational sector to help improve curriculum.

Biggest Wins:

Full site design and future vision for the project.

Getting a starter of the website out on the public internet with the server and the frontend javascript communicating asynchronously.

Got the plumbing for complex user authentication in place.

Got the plumbing for dynamic e-mailing in-place.

Continuous Integration with GitHub and Heroku.

From the Nonprofit

As the founder of PrincipalsConnect, I could not be more pleased with the thought and strategy that Team 418 displayed when developing our inaugural web site. They never left the room for over 24 hours. They included us at key junctures. They thought of many features we hadn't considered.

Having James Corazzo as our strategist was a big win. He thoughtfully crafted a strategy document that was easy to follow and thorough enough that the development team did not have to spend a lot of time on strategy.

The team has done many ground up solutions and it showed. The solutions were elegant in their simplicity and very user friendly.

Project Summary from the Team

Danger Zone's collaboration with Centerview Food Allergy Management was a concerted effort to both consolidate a significant volume of content across multiple existing websites and to create a new custom designed and feature-rich site.

With the invaluable assistance of the Centerview representatives Team Danger Zone was able to evaluate not only the existing web properties but to recreate, optimize, and enhance the user experience of multiple target audiences but also to improve upon the daily workflow, tedium, and complexities of existing business processes and the tools at their disposal. With a fully customized and detailed design, multiple third party vendor implementations, the implementation of the Google Apps Suite, vastly improved analytics, and complex custom development features we were able to greatly increase the organization's web presence.

From the Nonprofit

We were teamed with Danger Zone for the Overnight Web Challenge. The team exceeded our expectations and had a vast set of abilities. The team worked to understand what we needed for each part of the website. The entire team was very friendly and made the time go by fast. We were very lucky to have Danger Zone as our developers.

We had several "Big" items we wanted added to our site. The biggest win is having one fully functioning complete website. We started with 3 different sites before the competition. We also added several great tools to our website.

Team Hype Train for Corey's Network

WINNER: Best Design, Greatest Functionality, & People's Choice Awards

Project Summary from the Team

Corey's Network's online presence was fragmented across several different sites and online tools. The non-profit's sites were also in need of a refresh design-wise. Additionally, many of their processes were inefficient. For OWC, Team Hype Train consolidated all of Corey's Network into a single site (powered by WordPress) with a fresh, modern design. We brought all of Michelle's & Bob's processes into the site, and provided her with a cohesive one-stop spot to manage her data. We also reduced their overall costs by around $800 per year.

Our (and therefore Corey's Network's) biggest wins were: 1) Being able to consolidate 3 different sites/tools into a single, modern, functional site. 2) Streamlining inefficient contact management processes. 3) Saving Corey's Network on monthly costs.

From the Nonprofit

Changing our web host

They saved us lots of money

Time and effort too!

We had four servers

Each one for a different need

Now there is just one!!

Consolidated

No more jumping site to site!

Our board can use this!!

Our team was so great

They worked late into the night

They delivered big!

Pretty is the page

Our audience will find us

Our partners will grow!

Thanks to all of you

Without the challenge of nerds

We would be so lost!

In case you missed it

This is our haiku to say

Thank you from our hearts!!

Project Summary from the Team

We have a live version in staging. It is quite nearly done. Needs styling and a few bug fixes but virtually all the requirements of Glow are met.

All desired admin functionality and integrations with Google products.

From the Nonprofit

Team Meme were simply amazing! They worked well as a team dividing the challenge in to manageable sized sections with each person having the opportunity to give leadership to a task best suited for their strength. The team had a project manager who's task was to keep all the pieces moving forward.

Team Meme took the time needed to talk with us to determine what was needed in the website as well as what we wanted to see. Even though we do not have the technical experience, the team make sure that we had input throughout the entire project. They really listened to not only what we wanted in a site but showed interest in our organization.

The team represented their profession well and we are completely satisfied with the finished product.

The biggest win that this project accomplished was having a functional website that included all the elements we envision for the site. Having this website assists GLOW, Inc. with having a web presence and a centrally located place where various entities can access needed information about the organization.

This website is also helping us to develop our brand which is very crucial for these times. With this improved functionality GLOW, Inc. can extend and expand the scope of services and participants it serves.
